Total Hypocrisy

Ok... I spent a few minutes catching up on the world today. Surfed past Dr Pal's site to see that she is off on a well deserved holiday and stopped by Mellor's site to see what had been posted there.

I was horrified to see that she had the audacity to post about Baby P. Can Mellor not see that it's actions like the ones she takes that puts children at risk? I couldnt even read what she had written because it annoyed me so much. This is a woman who's actions actively discourage professionals from reporting what they believe to be child abuse. How can she have the audacity to post anything about a child that was abused and not picked up by the system?

Time Flies...

It's been over 8 weeks since I added to this blog and yet I am still getting quite a lot of hits on the site, mainly from the UK but some international ones as well. I've gone back to being quiet for numerous reasons. Lots of it was to do with the amount of work I had happening and despite the furor in the the financial markets (or maybe because of it), my workload is still manic and has rarely seen me with even weekends off in the last couple of months.

I have enjoyed some of the articles on NHS Exposed recently and have had a chuckle at quite a number of them. I checked out Ms Mellor's site the other day and am not sure whether to laugh or be horrified at her level of obsession. I can only think that to be so obsessed at ruining someone elses life must have a negative impact on your own because it can't fail to impact you.

Over the next couple of months I will continue to be working manically so will not be adding to this blog regularly. Hopefully I will see a couple of months off in Dec/Jan but that is yet to be confirmed. Regardless, I cannot work past mid Feb so I will definitely be running away to a nice sunny place sometime in the next few months.

Just because I wont be writing doesnt mean that I wont be reading other people's blogs and I am of course still around.

Busy...Busy...Busy!

No peace for the wicked they say - That certainly is the case for me! I've been pretty busy and havent added anything to this blog for a while.

I'm still reading Rita's work and the additions of her guest posters. There have been a good few things that I've enjoyed.

As the reason for this blog was get Dr Pal back on the net, I wont be adding much to this on a regular basis. Why would you want to read my ramblings when you can read more interesting stuff written by Dr Pal?

All Quiet

Seems all is quiet at the moment, although Penny's slander continues to bore us all. Wonder when the realisation is going to hit her that the Doctors won? If Penny believes that the GMC didnt investigate it properly then maybe she should have provided them with all of the "evidence" that she claims to have? Since she didnt, maybe it is time for her to move on?

On the flip side, I will be fairly quiet for the next few weeks because I wont be around. Hope you all enjoy yourselves, cos I know I will be :-)

A little while ago, Mellor wrote a piece about how the teachers at her kids school were shocked by what was written about Mellor on the web. If I were them, this week I would be shocked by the language Mellor has resorted to. Penny, words like "d***head" and "f***wit" are totally uncalled for. People generally only resort to language like that when they aren't intelligent enough to come up with a valid argument.

So... lets take a quick look at the slander on Ms Mellors site shall we?

Just on the first page, Penny has called various people: stupid; liar; f***wit; d***head; barking mad; IQ of peanuts... and that's just this week.

Here's my proposition to Penny:

You have been writing your site for quite a while now. You keep posting documents and making comments that are generally unsubstantiated. If you actually have something and can prove it, then take it to court and get Southall charged instead of slandering people constantly. The longer you draw this out, the more silly you look and the less credibility you have.

This weekend has been rather amusing. I wonder if Ms Mellor ever heard the story about the little boy who cried wolf? I believe the moral to that story was there are only so many times that you can be wrong before people start ignoring you.

I guess the question should be raised as to what will come sooner... David Southall in Prison over the evidence provided by Penny Mellor, or Penny Mellor charged with slander for all the times she attacks people and makes comments that are incorrect and untruthful?

I certainly know where I'd put my money.

Penny,

Your accusations of who you believe I am, are merely proving how inept your research is. Firstly my name was Rita and now my name is apparently, Rob. Please make your mind up. You can't even make a decision as to what my gender is. Yet again this proves you don't have a scooby.

Yes, I am an IT professional and have been for around 20 years. Before you go off and accuse some other IT Professional of being me, please realise there are thousands of us in the UK. My name will mean nothing to you even if you knew it.

Penny, please stop making yourself look silly with further accusations. Your lack of research and your continual jumping to conclusions regarding this website now brings into question the authenticity of everything else you have written in your blog, most of which is already recognised as slander and innuendo.

Another open letter to Penny Mellor

Dear Penny,

The first time you decided my blog was owned by Rita Pal, I proved you wrong. Even your friend Paul Heathcoate eventually realised I am not Rita Pal and that I am not medical, I don't pretend to be. This morning you continue to claim that this blog is owned by Rita and again, you are absolutely incorrect.

I began writing this blog a number of months ago as I had previously read Rita's writing and was amused by her sense of humour. I had followed it long enough to see her being attacked by you and have read the types of derogatory comments you and your friends make about people. All of which I find particularly disgusting.

This blog was written to show support for Rita at a period where her writing had gone quiet for one reason or another. As hard as it may be for you to believe, there are people who enjoy reading what Rita writes. It's often a lighthearted look at a serious subject.

So Penny, each time you claim that this blog is written and owned by Rita, you are only making a fool of yourself to the people who know who I am. It proves that your level of research is unsubstantiated allegations and calls into question the authenticity of any research you do. Please learn to get your facts right before making anymore comments about my blog.

Yet another horrendous week for me. I am a little sick of constantly travelling from one end of this country to the other but it looks like I may actually have a week at home in the very near future. Can't even begin to explain how apealing that is at the moment.

Blogging life has been amusing this week. Seems the good people at http://wickedconspirator.blogspot.com/ discovered my blog last week and were amused at one of my comments. Was nice to get a link from them as it drove up my site traffic considerably :-)

Heathcoates reference regarding a "computer expert" in a comment on a previous posting of mine has now been posted on Mellors blog. If they are trying to insinuate I am that particular "computer expert" they are, as usual, incorrect. Pointing out inaccuracies from those two is now a little tedious because they seem to get it wrong every single time.

I've been reading wicked conspirator and laughing quite frequently. Will have to make a point of reading it daily I think. NHS Exposed blog has also been entertaining.

Well, a busy work week for me yet again! Am wondering when I am going to get to slow down. Doesnt seem that it will be in the near future though.

Checking my blog this week has been interesting to say the least. Think I might have to start a list of the names and accusations that Paul Heathcote has thrown at me. This week's one isn't even amusing. It's actually quite sickening but then that seems to be the way Paul's mind works - extremely twisted!

We need to remember that Paul doesnt have a scooby about who I am and is continuing to try and guess. He has absolutely no chance of guessing who I am. He doesnt know me and cannot link me to anyone he knows because there is no link. I am exactly who I have described myself in all previous posts.

To make things extra clear, I have never met Dr Rita Pal, but I do read her articles because they can often be perceived as anti establishment and make me laugh. Dr Pal has the tenacity to question the establishment which makes her a target but she also has an excellent sense of humour as her "Accessorising for GMC Hearings" article on the NHS Exposed blog shows.

On the other hand Penny Mellors articles are rarely amusing, although the latest tagline on her blog has me itching to do a small amount of editing. I believe "Always outside looking in" is actually only the first bit of the sentence and should read "Always outside looking in 'cepting when I was on the inside looking out Guv'nor"

Penny's attempt at poetry this week has been absolutely woeful. Most of it doesnt rhyme and where it does rhyme, it's lacking rhythm, meter and most importantly, form.

Again... Cheerio until next week - or when ever I get a chance to write on here again...

As usual I have been extremely busy at work but have spent some time today laughing at Penny Mellor's ridiculous website and silly comments. Had to laugh when Penny said she traced Rita Pal to Wicked Conspirator. Penny already proved on this blog that she is incapable of tracing anything because of course, according to Penny, my blog is also written by Dr Pal.

I'm still getting comments from Paul Heathcote about who he thinks I am. Keep guessing Paul because you wont guess who I am in a year of Sundays! Hope you had a chance to check out the link I sent you as it seems that we do need to keep you occupied or then again, maybe you are happy to take other people's tax money for sitting on your butt doing nothing but making snide comments on blogs.

Ward 87 seems very quiet this week but it is nice to see Dr Pal back on NHSExposed blog. Some very entertaining posts on there this week. Certainly brightens up my day.

On that note, I'm off to enjoy the sunshine before I have to go back to work.

Totally Busy!

It's been an extremely busy time for me recently and I've hardly had time to sleep let alone write anything in this blog. I am however back for the moment and catching up on "Life Admin" (paying the bills, seeing friends, writing this blog etc.)

Last time I caught up with what was happening in the world I was dismayed to see yet another attack posting from Paul. All I can say is that I think we will have to agree to disagree. To be honest, reading the justifications I get from him and having to respond is getting a tad boring. Paul makes accusations and then backs it up with stuff that is 6 years old and not in any context so it is impossible to get a balanced view. Moving right along...

I've not had a lot of time to look at NHS Exposed Blog or try and work out where Dr Pal is residing on the web these days - assuming of course that she is around. In fact, I've not had a lot of time to do anything. Am hoping that will change in the coming weeks and life will return to normal... until then...

To do or not to do

I've been thinking about how to write this post for a little while so here goes.

A few days ago I had a comment posted to me which I chose not to publish, not because of what the writer was saying but because of what they quoted. I have no intention of repeating what was said on my blog because I believe what was said was totally despicable.

In this blog, Penny makes the most disgraceful references to Rita Pal's father.

Penny also goes on to say that she has traced all of Rita's blogs and internet activity back to Rita. In my humble opinion Penny is incapable of tracing anything, given that she also claimed she had traced this blog back to Rita. If you read some of my previous postings, you will see that I have had to give Penny lessons on the differences between ISP IP Addresses and email IP Addresses.

I cant help wondering what drives someone to be so incredibly vindictive and make the kind of comments I have read on that site. Are we not all adults?

Totally Amused

I've checked out my logs tonight and have had to have a little chuckle as there are some people who visit this site more than I do. Dont know what they expect. Some kind of epiphany maybe?

Sorry to disappoint. Nothing exciting happening here.

Amazes me that people have so much time to surf the web, Must be boredom. Maybe not enough to do in their lives. Could try gainful employment maybe? Anyway I am off to bed before I have to get up for that thing called "work"

Welcome Back...

I'm happy to say that since this blog started (and when I thought there was no chance), Dr Pal has indeed begun to write her blog albeit in a much more serious manner. I'd like to think that my blog provided encouragement, although I doubt I can take credit for that. From my persopective, I think it is great that Dr Pal has the freedom to continue her writing and I sincerely hope that she will continue to do so.

As for me - well, as I've said before, I will continue to add to this blog occasionally and I will continue to offer support for Dr Pal. Don't get me wrong - this is not a fan site. I dont always agree with everything the Doctor says. It would be a very boring world if I did - but I wont be using this to provide a critique of what Dr Pal posts on her site. My aim was to allow someone freedom of speech and I believe that has occured.

Murmurings from Ground Zero

I believe that publishing people's home addresses and personal details is a nasty thing to do. I moderated this blog because I'm not buying into that sort of behahiour. I published this blog to support Dr Pal - I said at the beginning that I wasnt a blogger - I never had any intention of updating this regularly - just whenever the mood grabbed me. I'll be going back to that from now unless the gang of evil continue their attacks and them I will be defending myself and those that they have in their cross hairs.

Life is too short to argue with people and it should be enjoyed. I certainly dont want to argue with the people who have been attacking me this week because I can't be bothered. In the words of Sting "I don't subscribe to their point of view."

Instead, I'd like to see the things that I do enjoy reading about back on the internet - one of those is Rita Pal's (often very humourous) blog. I don't say that Penny and co shouldnt write. They should but try doing it without wrongly attacking and accusing people.

My anonymous supporter has been kind enough to say that Penny has helped some parents. I've not seen that. The only things I've seen are the continual attacks across the internet but if anonymous is correct, then that can only be a good thing but I don't understand what drives her to attack other people the way she does. I'm sure there are two sides to the story and had last week's face-off with Penny not been her attacking my blog, I may have listened to rational discussion but at the moment I'm certainly not willing to. Penny tried to use this as a launch ground for attacking Rita and ended up getting caught in her own lies. That doesnt count as rational discussion and like anyone, if I'm attacked or feel like somone is being wrongly attacked, I will defend.

My intention is not to wade into the mire that exists but to just call encouragement from the sidelines and let Dr Pal know that there were (and are) some of us out there who do appreciate her efforts.

Freedom of speech is important and I feel that Rita has had hers taken away from her. We live in a democracy where people are allowed to express what they think and that is important. Without it we may as well be in some Totalitarian Regime.

Totally Disgusted is Totally Amused!

It's been a very interesting few days in cyberspace but today must take the cake.

Penny Mellors blog seems to have disappeared into the ether. Questions, questions, questions... So did Google deem it too horribly inappropriate? Or did Ms Mellor delete it once she realised that she'd been caught out in her lies and fabrication? I guess I'll never really know the answer to that.

In hindsight I am amazed at how much entertainment this blog has provided me this week. On a few occasions I have actually had to laugh out loud at the silly comments I have received.

Anyway - Is nice to see that I have a supporter now and that someone else out there appreciates what the Doctor has done.

I have had to moderate the comment pages because Paul Heathcote continues to post Rita Pals home address to my site. Why anyone would do that is beyond me. He seems to think I should go and knock on Rita's front door and ask her to publish her blog again. I can't understand why someone would consider doing that so it certainly raises some questions about Paul.

Apologies to Dr Pal

If you read this.... I'd stopped looking at your blog because there was nothing there to look at but I've checked it out tonight and what with Paul Heathcotes faux pas earlier this week and Penny Mellor's erreur énorme this evening, I looked at your site and laughed hysterically.

Is unfortunate for Mr Heathcote and Ms Mellor that they chose to attack on 2 topics that I am very much an expert on. Had Paul Heathcote chosen any other language with the exception of English or "Pigeon" (nice of Penny to teach him how to spell it, albeit incorrectly - lol), I would not have been able to respond quite so well.

Likewise had Penny chosen to not show her lack of knowledge of computers, I would not be laughing so much either.

Despite, Penny's refusal to do so, I do apologise to you for what my blog has stirred up this week. At no stage did I think a blog asking you to come back to the internet and continue posting your blog would create quite such vindictive responses from Ms Mellor and her friends. Please accept my apologies. I'm quite sure that deep deep down Penny would also like to extend her apologies for what she has written as I am sure she knows she was wrong all week however I doubt that her pride would allow her to apologise.

So Penny had the guts to respond to my post but adds lies to try and make herself look good. Penny's knowledge of computers would be as good as my knowledge of astro physics! Unfortunately for Penny I do have a very good knowledge of computers and computing and have probably forgotten more about them than most people have ever learned.

Unfortunately this is not my last post to you Penny.

Firstly you do not possess the technical knowledge to trace a blog nor would any of your contacts. Secondly if this was traced, it would trace back to a dynamic IP address that would show an ISP address only. Ask anyone you know about static vs dynamic IP addresses. Since I have used two ISP's in writing my blog as I have not even been in the same city for most of this week. My IP Addresses are dynamic, your chances of tracing anything are extremely minute.

What Rita Pal's addresses have to do with any of this are irrevelant. What they may prove is that the ISP is different but that is about it.

Sorry - Dont bullshit computers with me because you can add to the list of things that you do know about me is that I do work in computing and have done for nearly 20 years. I am MCSE, CNE and CCNA qualified. Look it up if you dont know what it means.

Still waiting for that apology to Rita... and now waiting for your apology for lying in your last post.

So here's the challenge to Penny - Show me where my IP address is the same as ANY IP address that Rita Pal has used for email. More interestingly Penny, a couple of lessons for you. An email header will only trace you back to the server that the email was emailed from NOT to the physical machine that sent it. To do what you claim in your post, I must be currently logged into the server that Rita's ISP uses for email and posting my blog off that physical server. In order to do that, either I work for Rita's ISP and am sitting in a comms room somewhere posting my blog or I have hacked her email server to post my blog. Even for Rita to post a blog with a IP address from the header of her email, she must be doing the same thing. It's actually not possible unless you are posting from the email server.

Please feel free to run this past anyone you know who has proper technical knowledge of networks. You have proved to me that you certainly have none.

Following is a letter posted to Penny Mellor's blog this evening. I've posted it here because I doubt Penny will publish it on her site and I am hoping that it may encourage her to stop and think before posting more untruths about Rita Pal.


Open Letter to Penny Mellor

Penny,

The language I am talking about is usually spelt "Pidgin" but depends on where you come from and which version of the language you are talking about. My spelling of "Pigeon" related to Paul Heathcote's reference. If anything I am guilty of being too lazy to bother using inverted commas.
Do we not think that picking on spelling and grammar is a little juvenile though? Makes me think I am talking to a school teacher. If you are trying to point out that I cant speak/read/write English, then you're wasteing your time. I've already told you I am British as are the last 600 years worth of my family - and those are just the ones I know of. I think picking on spelling is all a little petty.

I've had some time to think this afternoon and I was trying to think why my blog would make you want to attack Rita the way you have and what on my blog could have made you consider that I am her.

Prior to you linking to my site, the only reference to you is something about what I read now that Rita is no longer posting. I said I didnt read things that you wrote as I dont like what you write. For you to take that and think that I am Rita and do the level of character assassination that you did either means that you are extremely insecure or paranoid. Which one is it? Or is there another reason? If so, please feel free to share because right now I am beginning to think that you are extremely unstable.

Your postings over the last few days have been diabolical. You have wrongly accused me of being someone I'm not. You've disregarded what I've said when I've told you I am not Rita Pal and continued to use this all as an excuse to attack someone who isnt here to defend themselves.
If you wish to attack ME please feel free to do so because at least you will be having a go at someone who is here to defend themself. Please take note that as I have told you on a number of occasions, I am NOT Rita Pal. I am exactly as I described myself - someone who read Rita's writing and enjoyed reading it.

So what do you know about me?
I like reading Rita's writing
I think Rita has added a lot of value and helped people understand the workings (or lack there of) of the NHS
I'm British (and white - just to clarify things)
I speak fluent Pidgin (LOL - that must have come as a shock to Paul. I know I'm still laughing)

I dont want to get into any arguments with you because I quite honestly don't care about you or what you think to any degree at all. I do however, object to you attacking Rita as a result of my blog because that is quite unfair.

Now that I have said this in open forum, maybe you will stop attacking and sit and think that you are actually totally incorrect. The sidebar of your blog says that you are printing the truth about Rita. Clearly you aren't because you have jumped to some very wrong conclusions and made some totally incorrect accusations. I still believe you owe Rita an apology for the things you have said over the last few days.

So that you are aware, I am posting this to my blog as well as yours. If you choose to publish it on your blog and publically apologise to Rita Pal for what you have said in the last few days, then you may be a better person than I have given you credit for being. Somehow I dont expect this to happen though.

Supporting Rita, albeit anonymously, has now made me the target of Penny Mellor and Paul Heathcote's vitriol. Quite frankly I don't really care that much but I think they both need a wake up call in realising that I am not Rita Pal.

Amusingly enough Paul Heathcote accused me of speaking Pigeon English - I believe it was meant to have racist overtones and offend me. Unfortunately though, I am British and can trace my family history in the UK back 600 years. Even more amusing is that I actually do speak Pigeon English fluently so no offence taken to that :-) I have to laugh at it because that was a petty attack on me but could be extremely offensive to others.

Regardless - I do wish Rita would continue to post. The last couple of days have made me understand why she may wish to take a break from writing. I hope this sort of childish rubbish doesnt discourage her from posting her blog long term. I'm beginning to think that Penny just needs to be ignored and that responding to things she writes massages her ego. As for our friend Paul, he just seems to be a bit of a joke really. He's certainly made me laugh this evening. Paul - I'm happy to give you pigeon lessons whenever you'd like mate :-))

My feelings are that if Penny wishes to attack me, she is more than welcome but please don't credit my ramblings to Rita Pal as they aren't Rita's - They are all my own thoughts. As I've said all through this blog, I fully support people having the freedom to express themselves and that was why I created this blog.

So... if you want to attack someone for writing this, feel free to attack me because what you have written in the last few days is absolutely incorrect. I'd actually go as far as saying that you owe Rita an apology for the things you've said about her because you have been writing about me, not Rita and accusing Rita for things she has nothing to do with. That's not good form!

I have never read Penny's website before but this bit just caught my eye...

Whilst checking my logs this evening (I must be a hacker if I know how to do that), I came across links to my site from http://redressingthebalance.blogspot.com/. In hindsight I shouldnt be surprised and I have posted on this website to inform the ignorant author that I am not Rita Pal. I doubt that Penny Mellor will allow my post to be published though.

The reason I don't like reading the rubbish Penny Mellor writes is that it is very rarely based on fact and again, she proves my point by assuming I am Rita Pal.

DOH - Me thinks Ms Mellor has a screw loose!!

To clarify things... Penny, you dont know me and you never will. I am not interested in getting involved in any of the idiotic rubbish you post. I'm not interested in slinging matches that you seem to be so good at. I am not interested in you at all. From everything I have seen, you seem to be a nasty and vindictive piece of works so do me a favour and crawl back into your hole.

Rita - if you read this - freedom of speech is important and there are a number of articles that you have written that are important to the general population. NHS Exposed serves a very useful purpose as a medium for people to see what is going on in the NHS.

Well, despite the lack of comments on this blog, I find it interesting to see the number of people who have visited it and their locations.

Technology is a great! Not only does it allow us to say what we want but it allows us to see who is reading what we've written.

I can only hope that my message reaches those it is intended to reach.

I think everyone has a right to their own opinions and the right to argue the case for those. It saddens me that someone has effectively become been ostracised and targeted for having opinions. I'd also have to question the whole idea of the right to free speech if we now think that expressing opinions is a reason to quieten people.

I'll be honest and say that I have not checked Dr Pal's blog this week because I believe I will only be disapointed by its absence. I am unhappy that someone who wrote as prolifically as she did seems to no longer have a medium to publish. Of course I could be wrong - maybe all is well and Dr Pal is happily writing away somewhere else in cyber space...

Well, it April 5th and Dr Pal remains quiet. I have searched the web for postings but am unable to see any.

If the Dr reads this, I think you know me better as "Totally" and you had cause to thank me on your blog a while ago for a posting I made on a used car salesman's site. I'll say no more than that.

Well, what do we read when the Dr isn't in town? To be honest, not a lot. I had the misfortune to read some sites that Penny Mellor had posted to but Ms Mellors comments aren't often entertaining and frequently annoy me so I prefer not to read anything written by her.

NHS Exposed seems fairly quiet. NHS Exposed Blog is inaccessible.

So what does that mean? In a nutshell, without Dr Pal's amusing contributions to the blog scene I find it all a little bland and boring.

Please come back Dr Pal. I'll die of boredom without your contributions.

Is there a Doctor in the house?

I'm not really a blogger as such. I'm not sure that I could spend my days posting my innermost thoughts, concerns and ideas on the internet for all to see but that doesn't mean that I dislike those that do.

One such person who I had been following recently was Dr Rita Pal. Dr Pal had created a blog that I enjoyed reading from time to time. It was controversial to say the least. Whilst I didn't always agree with everything the good Doctor had to say, I admired her tenacity in the face of her "wanna-be" oppressors. One, in particular had set up their own hate based blog which did nothing but attack Dr Pal in the way that you would expect from a grade school student. I'm not sure that I was impressed with the level of maturity that site exhibited. Thankfully it seems to have disapeared.

Of bigger concern is the fact that Dr Pal's own blog also seems to have disapeared. From what I had read, Dr Pal had been previously stalked and numerous derrogatory articles had been posted about her. I only hope these did not scare her off. The world needs people like Dr Pal to ensure we don't forget to question the world around us. So what if we disagree with her sentiments? That isn't the point. I think too many people accept what they are told and don't learn to question or explore their own ideas. Dr Pal was a great example of someone who not only explored her ideas but published them in a way that most people would be afraid to.

Hopefully one day in the near future Dr Pal will read this posting and realise that her thoughts helped keep the balance and that she is needed on the world wide web.

I, for one, have really missed her postings!
